If you’re on the beach side, these are the best cafes for remote work in Da Nang
Even if you have super fast internet in your apartment, sometimes you need another place to work. Whether it’s to switch up with a change of scenery or a work refuge when the inevitable day long power outage hits your neighborhood, here’s a list of my favorite cafes in Da Nang to work remotely.
Mua Cafe
This is a huge, multi-floor cafe, and every level has a distinctly different feel. The place I like to work the best is an enclosed area on the second floor. It’s cool, peaceful and there are plenty of outlets to keep you powered up. The staff is friendly and a coconut coffee will keep you going for hours.
Bread n Salt Cafe
This one is my number one choice for remote work. They definitely built the place with remote workers in mind. The seating is very comfortable, there are outlets everywhere and a feeling of space and light. The service is excellent and the coffee, juices, sweet treats and breakfasts are good. It’s a bit pricey, but in my opinion, worth it. Bonus points for having a clean bathroom with all the necessaries.
Le Petit Cafe
There are three seating options: inside, on the patio and upstairs on the garden rooftop. When the power goes out in my home office, I head over to le Petit to grab a seat inside. It’s air conditioned, comfortable and they’ve placed power outlets in convenient places near tables. The coffee is excellent, though the food is only meh. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and this is definitely one of the places I like best for working when I can’t be at home.
Six on Six
Another of the pricier cafes, Six on Six is tucked away on a quiet alley and serves a short menu of breakfast and lunch items, plus coffee, smoothies and juices. It’s a small cafe and a peaceful environment to get an hour or two of work done.
Mud Bistro
If you’re hit with a scheduled day long power outage, check with Mud Bistro. Many times I’ve found they are prepared with a generator, so they still have wifi and aircon. It’s a small place, so not ideal to camp out all day, but to get a bit of work in while enjoying some healthy food and a temperature controlled environment, it’s a good choice.
