For those who prefer or require their food to be gluten free, Dayu’s Warung is the place to go.
The restaurant is small and unassuming, and tucked back off the main road in Ubud. Not only is everything gluten free, it’s also very fresh, with clean flavors and MSG-free.
You can enjoy typical Balinese dishes, such as nasi campur be’tutu beruk (pictured here) with chicken curry in a coconut shell, Thai inspired dishes, raw food offerings, organic salads as well as raw and vegan desserts. There is also a sugar free drinks list with herbals, detox mixes and green smoothies.
Dayu’s offers something for everyone : chicken and fish, vegan, raw and vegetarian. Try the Holy Guacamole: sweet potato fries to dip in Dayu’s interpretation of guacamole. There is even a breakfast menu, featuring items like red rice coconut pancakes.
